Richmond United FC hosts Richmond's largest annual sports event each Thanksgiving long weekend. RUFC looks forward to hosting U8-U18 teams for the 31st Annual Richmond Thanksgiving Tournament & Festival October 12-14, 2024. In 2023, 242 teams from across BC and Western Canada participated in the tournament/festival.

Scheduling Requests: Requests to accommodate Thanskgiving dinners on Saturday or Sunday evening will NOT be considered. Kickoff times in the later afternoon/evening can be 4:30pm, 6:00pm and 7:30pm depending on entries. Scheduling requests will only be accommodated (to the best of the scheduler's ability) for ferry travel on Saturday morning, teams with 100+ km travel not spending the night in Richmond and coaches who coach more than one team to not be at the same time. Teams with out of town travel will, to the best of the scheduler's ability, not be given Sunday evening game times.

Sunday Whitecaps Game: Requests to schedule a team's game around the Whitecaps game on Sunday cannot be accommodated.
