Welcome to RUFC’s Advanced Development Program (ADP) soccer registration for the main soccer season, 2025/2026 Fall-Winter (September to March) , for girls and boys born 2018 (U8) to 2008 (U18). 

As RUFC’s competitive stream, the ADP is for experienced soccer players with intermediate to advanced skill. It is not for beginners or players new to soccer - please see the Club's Open Development Program. Placement in the ADP is by evaluation and selection only.

Players not currently in the ADP (2025 Spring) can email Tania at taniaw@rufc.ca for further details about an evaluation. Please include player’s full date of birth and playing history. 

Programming runs mid-August to March for U11-U18 teams and September to March for U8-U10 teams.  As a Canada Soccer designated Quality Soccer Provider, all programming is in accordance with Canada Soccer Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) guidelines. All U8-U18 teams train two times per week. U11-U18 teams have weekend games in the BC Coastal  Soccer League. Boys play Saturday and girls play Sunday. Games will take place in Richmond and other cities in the lower mainland. Attendance at both home and away games is expected. U8-U10 teams will play weekend games in jamboree format against like-minded clubs.

Teams will be formed based on player evaluations throughout the Spring and evaluation sessions. The composition of players who register impacts team formation. All teams are formed at the direction of the Club's Technical Director. RUFC may combine age groups where required. All ADP teams have RUFC Staff Coaches and Parent Coaches.

Tenative Practice Schedule will be posted in early August once field allocations are received from the City of Richmond. Your practice days in Spring or last Fall/Winter are not necessarily your 2025/26 Fall-Winter practice days.

2025/2026 Advanced Development Registration Fees:

U8-U10 (2018-2016) = $685

U11-U12 (2015-2014) = $735

U13-U17 Div 2 & U18 Div 1 (2013-2008) = $735

U13-U17 Div 1 & U18 Metro = $885* (includes 3rd practice)

*players selected to a U13-U17 Div 1 or U18 Metro team, will pay the base fee of $735 and invoiced for the balance in September.

CLOSE DATE FOR ADP REGISTRATION & CONFIRMED SPOT: July 15th.

After July 15 the registration system will close for registration. Late registering players will need to contact taniaw@rufc.ca to confirm that there is still space. Late registrations are subject to a $50 late fee.

Refund Policy:
Refunds are provided, subject to a $50 administration fee, up to July 15, 2025. Refunds are not provided after July 15 except in circumstance of season ending injury or residential move out of Richmond. Supporting documentation is required.
