Mini-Kickers

This one day a week RUFC skill development program is for girls and boys born in 2019 and 2018. As a Canada Soccer Quality Soccer Provider, all RUFC programming aligns with the CSA Long Term Player Development (LTPD) model and players will be grouped with an emphasis on extending and supporting the player's stage of development.  There will be an emphasis on individual and small group development, using deliberate practice to develop soccer and physical literacy skills.

If you would like to be placed on a team with a practice and game each week please refer to our U6 & U7 Open Development Program.

The Mini-Kickers program provides a curriculum framework focusing on developing:

  • Physical literacy skills
  • Emotional, personal and social development
  • Individual ball mastery
  • Cognitive Development

Participation in this program will assist children in developing positive self-esteem and promote a healthy attitude towards physical activity as well as developing basic physical literacy and ball skills.
